Acupuncture & Herbs

Ancient modalities for modern ailments, both Acupuncture, the practice of needling body points, and Chinese herb formulas are used to bring the body into balance. Other therapies that I may employ are cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and tuina.

The formulas prescribed are made up of herbs from China and are sourced from trusted suppliers. I’ve visited factories in China and met the owners of many herbal medicinaries in town to find suppliers who operated with integrity, keep high standards, and do not charge exorbitant prices.

My Approach

I am dedicated to facilitating connection between and alignment of body, mind, and spirit. I believe that your body knows best and in most cases it’s about finding where your body is out of balance— I help take away when there’s too much, and add more when there’s not enough. This general principle is key to unblocking stuckness that leads to pain not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level as well.

Equanimity

Equanimity is the wisdom of being at peace in the moment. This is the space I aim to evoke for my patients so they may feel safe to allow what is ailing them to just be. I do not fight disease for that would be opposing what is and imposing my will on your body. In finding balance there is opening to allow what is to flow to what is next. We will be on this health journey together and follow where this opening takes us.
